# About DM

Dominique is a dean and instructional coach at a middle school in Harlem, NYC. She hails from the BX aka the Bronx—Highbridge to be precise.

When she’s not deaning, Dominique is off somewhere being a singer, a wife, a guardian, a world traveler, a big sister, a protector, a good, good girlfriend, a **\#TERP4Life**, and/or many of the other hats she wears on the daily.

Whether you’re reading the blog or checking out photos, at [DominiqueMejia.com](https://dominiquemejia.com/) you’ll see Dominique’s journey through an authentic lens and hopefully relate in a way that brings perspective to your own journey.
